Mr. Shrinivas Sawant is a double Masters with a postgraduate degree in Social Work as well as a Masters in Human Resource Development Management (MHRDM) both from University of Mumbai. He has been working in the Development Sector for more than 27 years. Mr. Sawant is a founder trustee and honorary member of International Association for Children Development (IACD) which was established in 1990. Over the years, Mr. Sawant has worked with various reputed organizations like Maharashtra Centre for Entrepreneurship Development (MCED), Child Rights and You (CRY), Project Mainstream (Rotary International Project), Citizens Council for a Better Tomorrow (A joint venture by various corporates), Society for Service to Voluntary Agencies (SOSVA) and College of Social work at various capacities. A multifaceted person, Mr Sawant’s work experience covers a range of issues that include Disability, Health, Community Development, Child labor, Street Children, HIV and AIDS, Employment, CSR and Corporate fund raising, Entrepreneurship Development, Monitoring and Evaluations, Counseling, HR training and OD. His expertise includes fund raising both at the national and international level, designing CSR programs for Corporates to suit their vision and philanthropic needs. Mr Sawant lived in Toronto, Canada from April 2013 to October 2016 where he completed his post graduate diploma in Project Management and Business Analysis. Shrinivas worked with World Vision Canada as Gender Intern, Canadian Career College as Human Resource Manager and volunteered with various non-profit organization like Children’s Aid Society, Canada and Centre for Education and Training, Canada. Mr. Sawant also completed his Competent Leadership (CL) and Competent Communication (CC) program from Toast Masters International while in Canada. He is currently working as the General Manager at Tulsi Trust, Mumbai.
